This is Liudmyla Herasimenko. She is 60 years old. Today she lives with her mother, who is 86 years old. Mom after a stroke... Her husband moved in with his daughter, who is currently suffering from cancer.
On one March day Liudmyla lost everything. The house which was built by her parents was destroyed to the ground by the russian occupants.
She is a woman who smiles and looks at her life optimistically despite all life circumstances and trials that befell her. She writes poems that bring tears and is sure that everything will be in Ukraine.
The process of construction and reconstruction is long and troublesome. With the support of donations from the CF "Rebuild Makariv", a summer kitchen was insulated and equipped for a living space, and thanks to volunteers and caring locals, the rubble of the woman's destroyed house was dismantled.
We are happy to see the results of the work have done and understand that now Lyudmila and her mother will be warm in the cold period of the year.
