The Chairman of the Board of Rebuild Makariv charitable foundation is Hennadii Pohorielov who is a caring citizen of Makariv and an acting officer of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
During the active phase of Makariv’s defense he was engaged in the evacuation of people, delivering humanitarian aid and fuel to civilians and military. He helped the community with the restoration of electricity supply in villages where it was possible.
After the Russian troops retreated from the Makariv settlement territorial community, Hennadii did not leave good deeds and continued to help people who needed it.
Realizing that he can’t stay away, the Charitable Foundation "Rebuild Makariv" was founded that the town would again become the blooming cozy place where you want to return again and again.
